Job Title: Picker / Packer

Location: Elmswell, Bury St Edmunds (please note: this site is not accessible via public transport)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 19:00 - 03:30 & Friday 16:00 - 00:30

Pay: -13.50 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Picker / Packer to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

This role is based within a factory setting. Some areas, including cold storage, may operate at low temperatures, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders to meet production and dispatch deadlines
• Use scanning systems to track, record, and organise stock
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and high standards are maintained
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets
• Follow all site procedures, including health & safety and hygiene standards
• Operate within cold store areas as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a factory environment, including cold conditions
• Willingness to wear required PPE at all times
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Heavy lifting up to 25kg
