About the Role:
A forward-thinking secondary school in Aylesbury is looking for a Physics Teacher to join their Science department from January 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Physics for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons that foster curiosity and achievement
- Support studentsandrsquo; academic progress through effective teaching and assessment
- Differentiate lessons for a variety of learning needs, including SEN and EAL pupils
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level success
- Contribute to Science enrichment activities, such as STEM clubs and trips
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching Physics at secondary level
- Excellent subject knowledge and ability to engage pupils
- Commitment to raising attainment and inspiring a passion for Science
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
