In this fast-paced, detail-oriented role, you’ll support the prior authorization process by coordinating with physicians, gathering information, and preparing cases for review. Compensation: $18/hour, 3+ month contract

What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform data entry of patient, prescriber, pharmacy, and prior authorization information

Review PA requests for completeness and request missing details from physician offices

Communicate with doctors’ offices by phone and fax to gather information

Finalize requests in PA software and enter overrides into PBM claim systems

Identify issues in the PA process and escalate to management when necessary

Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and privacy standards

Collaborate across clinical, member services, and account management teams

What You’ll Need to Be Considered:

Pharmacy Technician background (retail, hospital, or PBM call center)

Prior Authorization knowledge

Proven high-volume data entry skills with accuracy

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, computer-based environment

Familiarity with PBM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
