Permit to Work Coordinator

Astute''s Power team are currently recruiting for a RAMS and Permit to Work Coordinator to support a project in the Aberdeen area. This is an opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional to coordinate risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work processes, helping ensure construction activities are planned and carried out safely.Role responsibilities and key skills:Coordinate the submission, review and approval of subcontractor and internal Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).Ensure RAMS are accurate, complete and approved before works commence.Maintain RAMS trackers, permit registers and document control systems.Manage the Permit to Work process, including excavation, hot works, electrical, confined space, lifting operations and working at height permits.Verify supporting documentation and ensure permits remain valid and current.Identify conflicting activities, outstanding approvals and gaps in documentation, escalating issues to site management.Support site inspections, audits and compliance with company procedures, client requirements and legislation.Liaise with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and Health and Safety teams.Produce regular reports on RAMS and permit status, tracking outstanding actions and approvals.Support project mobilisation and demobilisation from a compliance perspective.Strong organisational, communication and document control skills.Experience coordinating RAMS and Permit to Work systems ..... full job details .....
