Peripatetic Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant (STLA)High Peak / Chesterfield Area Full-time Term Time Only 37 Hours per Week Salary: 26,400 - 28,152 Actual Salary (Grade 8 Equivalent)Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a specialist alternative provision seeking a dedicated and resilient Peripatetic Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant (STLA) to support pupils with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs across the High Peak and Chesterfield areas.This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 educational and pastoral support to pupils who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. You will work directly with young people in their homes and community settings, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.The RoleAs a Peripatetic STLA, you will:Deliver tailored 1:1 support in English, Maths and Personal Development.Support pupils with barriers to education, including SEMH, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.Build positive relationships with pupils and their families from the point of referral.Complete baseline assessments and contribute to personalised learning plans.Support pupils with Functional Skills examinations and educational transitions.Accompany pupils to visits at alternative provisions, colleges or prospective schools where appropriate.Manage your own diary and caseload independently.Provide additional support within the provision when required.About ..... full job details .....
