Peripatetic Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant - Temp-to-PermLocation: Chapel-en-le-Frith / High Peak AreaStart Date: ASAPContract: Temporary to Permanent OpportunityHours: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week - 37 Hours, Term TimePay: Competitive rate, paid weekly via our in-house PAYE payrollMileage: 45p per mile for travel between sitesPremier Education is working with a specialist education setting in the Chapel-en-le-Frith area seeking an experienced Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone experienced in supporting young people with challenging behaviour, additional needs, or those who have become disengaged from mainstream education.The role is varied and involves working with pupils aged 11-16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education and are following individual education pathways. Much of the work will take place off-site on a 1:1 basis, including supporting pupils in their homes and other appropriate community settings.As the role involves travelling between different locations and occasionally transporting pupils, a full UK driving licence, access to your own car and appropriate business insurance are essential.
