Are you passionate about driving performance and influencing strategic outcomes? Our client, a prominent organisation in the housing sector, is seeking a Performance Manager to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to create a lasting impact by embedding a culture of performance excellence across the organisation.

Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid (2-3 days in the office). Occasional travel may be required.
  • Salary: -45,000 - -55,000

Role Overview:
As the Performance Manager, you will play a strategic role at the heart of the organisation, responsible for establishing a ''golden thread'' linking strategy, policy, operational delivery, and outcomes. This is a role where you will work closely with Governance, Policy and Data teams, as well as providing great exposure to the Senior Leadership Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Lead the creation and ongoing management of the corporate performance framework, ensuring every KPI and report tells a clear, actionable story aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Strategic Coordination: Act as the bridge between Data & BI, Insight, and various teams, ensuring data and assurance work in harmony.
  • Insight Translation: Transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, empowering senior leaders to make evidence-led decisions.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide guidance across performance reporting, ensuring metrics are consistent, reliable, and impactful.
  • Collaboration: Influence and engage colleagues at all levels, promoting an insight-led, unified approach to performance.
  • Regulatory Support: Assist in regulatory assurance, benchmarking, and strategic decision-making by clarifying reporting layers.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in building and managing a performance management framework from scratch, preferably in a complex or regulated environment.
  • Thinks strategically and can seamlessly connect data, insight, and organisational outcomes.
  • Can confidently influence and challenge senior leaders to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking, balancing big-picture vision with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the housing sector or a similarly regulated industry is a plus, but not essential.
