Payroll Clerk (Part Time)
About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Payroll Clerk on a part time basis (26 hours / week) to join our Payroll team in Norwich. Within this office-based role, you will support the end-to-end delivery of accurate and timely payroll across Monthly, Bi-Weekly and Weekly cycles, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time.Based at our Head Office (ideally on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays) you will also play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting internal reviews, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.The ideal candidate is an organised, detail-focused payroll professional with strong knowledge of PAYE and pensions, who can confidently manage multiple payroll frequencies while supporting continuous process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister full end-to-end processing of Monthly, Bi-Weekly, and Weekly payroll.Manage Payroll functions including PAYE, pensions administration, statutory payments, and deductions.Support the Payroll Manager with system health checks, data validation and participation in process improvement reviews and projects.Conduct regular updates and reviews of the Payroll Procedure Manual, ensuring documentation remains accurate and compliant.Provide support and cover across all payroll frequencies as required.Ensure all payroll activities comply with current legislation, internal policies, and audit requirements.Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally, delivering excellent service ..... full job details .....
