Payroll Administrator
Job Title: Payroll Administrator Salary: £37,000 Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 home; initial 5 days in office for onboarding Contract: Permanent Location: Central London This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a collaborative and supportive payroll team, gaining exposure to a varied client base while managing payrolls end-to-end. The Role You ll take ownership of your own client payroll portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely processing while supporting senior team members where required. This is a hands-on role offering strong development opportunities within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Handle PAYE/NIC calculations and BACS payments Manage payroll queries from clients and internal stakeholders Liaise with HMRC regarding PAYE matters Support the setup of new PAYE schemes and payroll systems Maintain accurate records and workflow updates within payroll systems Assist with process improvements and ad hoc payroll tasks About You Minimum 2 years payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy or bureau environment Strong understanding of auto-enrolment and payroll legislation Confident in manual payroll calculations (PAYE/NIC) Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Excellent communication and Excel skills Experience with payroll systems (e.g. Paycircle) ..... full job details .....
