Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support to students on a daily basis.
Act as a point of contact for students experiencing pastoral issues.
Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, intervening where necessary.
Work in partnership with staff, families, and outside agencies to support students.
Promote safeguarding and child protection policies across the school.
Assist with the development and implementation of pastoral support plans.
Contribute to the school''s inclusive ethos by supporting students'' mental health and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A calm, approachable, and empathetic manner.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection is desirable.
