Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional, social, and behavioural support to students on a daily basis.

  • Act as a point of contact for students experiencing pastoral issues.

  • Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, intervening where necessary.

  • Work in partnership with staff, families, and outside agencies to support students.

  • Promote safeguarding and child protection policies across the school.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of pastoral support plans.

  • Contribute to the school''s inclusive ethos by supporting students'' mental health and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A calm, approachable, and empathetic manner.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection is desirable.
