OverviewTeachwise is currently looking for a skilled and experienced pastoral manager for a local secondary academy based in Manchester. The role will begin on 06/10/2025 and will continue on a full-time, long-term basis.
ResponsibilitiesThe role will involve working with pupils across KS3 and KS4 providing all aspects of pastoral support. Some pupils may be dis-engaged and exhibit challenging behaviour whilst others require specialist support for issues outside of school. You will need to have excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to engage with pupils from a wide array of backgrounds. You will work closely with SLT, head''s of year and external agencies. The position would suit someone who has previously worked as a pastoral manager or senior mentor within a secondary school setting.
