The Passage House Hotel is undergoing an exciting full refurbishment and transformation into an internationally recognised IHG-branded property. This is a unique opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage and be part of the relaunch of a modern, guest-focused hotel experience.

Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Hotel Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our newly relaunched hotel. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest service, supporting daily front desk operations, and upholding the standards expected of an IHG-branded property.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service from check-in to check-out
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism
• Process reservations, payments, and room allocations accurately
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
• Assist with guest complaints or issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
• Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Support the Front Of House-team during busy periods and contribute to a positive working environment
• Ensure all guest information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using computers and reservation systems (training provided if needed)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
