About the Role

Pertemps Cirencester Crewe is seeking a reliable Part Time PPT Driver to join their client’s team on a permanent day shift basis in Crewe. The role involves operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) in a chilled warehouse, where temperatures are maintained between 1°C and 4°C. Working patterns include either a 4 on 4 off or Tuesday to Saturday schedule, from 10:00am to 14:30pm. Duties include moving stock safely, loading and unloading goods, and performing general warehouse tasks while following health and safety procedures. PPT experience is desirable but not essential. The position offers £12.81 per hour. Suitable warm workwear is recommended for the chilled environment.

Pertemps are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part Time PPT Driver to join their client’s team on a permanent day shift basis in the Crewe area on part time hours.
This role is based in a chilled warehouse, with temperatures maintained between 1°C and 4°C, so suitable warm workwear is recommended.
Part Time PPT Driver Details:
📍 Crewe – CW1
❗Shifts: 10:00am - 14:30pm
💷 Pay: £12.81ph
Shifts can be either a 4 on 4 off basis or Tuesday - Saturday pattern.
Duties for the Part Time PPT Driver:

Operating a PPT (experience desirable but not essential)
Moving stock safely around the warehouse
Loading and unloading goods
General warehouse duties as required
Following health & safety procedures

What We’re Looking for in the Part Time PPT Driver:

Good attitude and reliability
Ability to work night shifts/weekends
Team player with good communication skills
PPT experience is beneficial but not essential — full training can be provided
Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment (temperatures between 1°C and 4°C)
