- below is the advert we have put out for a role which is 5 days a week at £60k. We would also consider hiring someone more experienced and paying £60k for 3 or 4 days - so about £80k FTE. If you want part time - apply on this advertWe are working with an extremely cool start up in the UK which has established links to a similar business in the US. It puts on a huge event each year and this years initial event was incredibly successful. Now a proven succcessful concept, they are bringing some of finance in house (already in place is a CFO). Reporting directly into the CFO, this role will be the bridge between the organisation and their outsourced finance partners. You’ll take ownership of management accounts, provide insight to the business, and ensure financial operations run smoothly as they prepare for one of London’s most exciting cultural moments.You’ll also line-manage up to two interim Accounts Payable staff during the year, giving you leadership experience while staying hands-on with key financial processes.Key Responsibilities

Act as the business partner to outsourced finance providers, ensuring accurate and timely reportingOwn and review monthly management accounts, ensuring variances are understood and communicated clearly to senior leadershipDeliver variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making across the businessSupport compliance and any external reporting requirementsOversee and support two interim Accounts Payable roles, ensuring smooth supplier management and payments during peak periodsContribute to building robust financial processes and controls as the organisation scalesProvide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic projects, sponsorships, and event planningAbout You
