Part-Time Customer Service Advisor (Weekend Remote)

Location: Remote (currently)
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am - 4:00pm (12 hours per weekend)

Although this opportunity is remote, we still require individuals to be in a commutable distance to the Peterborough office, as there may be a requirement to visit the office if covering hours during the week.

We''re recruiting for a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and friendly customer support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for weekend work with the flexibility of working remotely.

Initially, the role will be weekends only (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am-4:00pm), although there is the potential for hours to align with weekday operating hours (8:00am-6:00pm) in the future. There may also be opportunities for additional weekday overtime to provide holiday cover.



The Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you''ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience across multiple communication channels. You''ll be responsible for resolving customer enquiries efficiently, handling complaints professionally, and ensuring every interaction reflects a high standard of service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via multiple communication channels, delivering first-time resolutions wherever possible.
  • Handle inbound customer calls in line with service level agreements and quality standards.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure queries and issues are fully resolved.
  • Investigate customer concerns and escalate where appropriate.
  • Liaise with internal departments and third-party providers, including couriers, to resolve customer issues.
  • Manage customer complaints through to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Process customer payments and refunds while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
  • Complete general administration tasks.
  • Contribute ideas to improve customer service processes and ways of working.
