Role OverviewThe Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with SMEs, strong Excel skills, and confidence handling UK accounting procedures. Key Responsibilities:Maintain purchase, and sales ledgersProcess and reconcile invoices, credit notes, expenses, and supplier/customer accountsRecord directors'' expenses and investments.Raise invoices via XeroManage invoice queries and overdue paymentsPrepare bank payments and reconcile bank, card, and multi-currency accountsRun monthly payroll and manage pensionsSubmit HMRC payroll reports and complete year-end tasksPrepare and submit VAT returnsLiaise with an international accountant for overseas VATConduct AML checks and ensure regulatory complianceProduce monthly cash flow forecastsMaintain salary breakdownsKeep accurate financial records and filing.
