Parking Representations Officer £21.12 per hour (Umbrella)Hybrid working 3-month ongoing contract36 hours per week Mon to FriWe are currently recruiting an experienced Parking Representations Officer to join a busy Parking Back Office team on a remote, ongoing contract. This role focuses on reviewing and responding to challenges and representations against Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), ensuring decisions are made in line with current legislation and local authority policy.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and determine challenges and formal representations against PCNs at all stagesReview evidence including CEO notes, audit trails, photographs and location mapsMake informed decisions to uphold or cancel PCNs in line with legislation and council policyPrepare and issue statutory correspondence and legal notices within agreed timescalesRespond to written correspondence, emails and queries from motorists, MPs and councillorsLiaise with Enforcement Agents regarding debt recovery cases, payment plans and vulnerabilitiesMaintain accurate records on parking enforcement systems and document management systemsProvide clear, professional explanations of decisions to support complianceEssential Experience and KnowledgeProven experience working in a Parking Enforcement / PCN Processing environmentStrong working knowledge of Traffic Management Act 2004, PCN challenge and appeals processUnderstanding of contravention codes, signage and road markingsExperience using parking enforcement IT ..... full job details .....
