Our client is seeking a Wills and Probate Paralegal to join their Guiseley office. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a well-established, employee-owned law firm.
The Key Responsibilities of the Wills and Probate Paralegal:
* Assist solicitors and executives with wills and probate matters from file opening to archiving.
* Obtain and prepare file documentation.
* Keep clients and third parties updated on case progress.
* Bill files and manage payments due to the firm.
* Maintain legal knowledge and contribute to improving office procedures.
* Support a safe and healthy working environment.
* Carry out any other duties as required by the firm.
The Key Requirements of the Wills and Probate Paralegal:
* Previous experience in a law firm is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in wills and probate is an advantage.
* Excellent client care and communication skills.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work under supervision.
* Strong written and spoken English.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Confident in presenting and arguing a case orally and in writing.
* IT proficient and comfortable using legal systems.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Satisfactory absence record or valid justification for previous absenteeism.
* Able to positively represent the firm''s image.
