Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.Senior Paralegal – Birmingham or LeedsResponsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate asset management documents including leases, licences, variations and surrenders, extensions, consents and other property documentsSupport the management of leases tracking key dates, handling renewals and terminations, and maintaining compliance with lease termsAssist with due diligence for property transactions, collecting and organising documents to facilitate risk assessment and compliance reviewsSupport the wider client service team in ensuring compliance across client''s asset management portfolioMaintain organised matter management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for client team and client’s useProvide informal support to junior paralegals, sharing knowledge and helping develop best practices in document handling and portfolio asset managementAct as a liaison within the client service team and client’s in-house legal, estates and operational team to facilitate excellent communication and document flowOur standard working hours are 9:30am-5:30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:Previous Paralegal experience or equivalent specialising in property asset managementExperience of working in a large commercial law firm and understanding of the levels of service delivery requiredExperience in using legal technology solutions and platforms to deliver excellent client serviceWhat can we offer you?
