Location: Norfolk
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 Per Annum

Hales Group are working with their client to support them in finding a Panel Repair Technician to join their business, as it continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and contributing to a professional, fast-paced environment.
 
The Role
 
As a Panel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels to manufacturer and industry standards. Working alongside MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and the wider body-shop team, you will ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality levels.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Carry out panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • Assess vehicle damage and determine the most effective repair methods.
  • Remove dents, creases, and damage using approved repair techniques.
  • Repair or replace damaged panels where necessary.
  • Realign chassis and body structures using specialist equipment and manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
  • Work efficiently to achieve individual and team productivity targets.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures within the workshop.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
 
Skills & Experience Required
 
  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Repair Technician, or Body Repair Technician.
  • Proven ability to repair damaged vehicle panels to a high standard.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair methodologies.
  • Experience using body-shop tools, equipment, and repair systems.
  • Ability to interpret repair methods and technical information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
