Are you an experienced Paediatric Staff Nurse or a newly qualified Staff Nurse who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care to children, young people and their families? If your answer is YES, we want you to come and join our team on the Treehouse Children''s Unit at Stepping Hill Hospital.The Treehouse Unit is looking for experienced or newly qualified staff nurses to join our team. You will be supported by a fabulous team and our Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educators who will develop your personal development plan which will include senior band 5 training days, HDU course and APLS course. We are a 20 bedded acute paediatric ward, with 8 paediatric assessment beds, a surgical Walk In Walk Out service and 2 HDU beds. We care for children and young people with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. Specialist nursing teams are available to support this care delivery, including a Mental Health Practice Educator who also provides supervision and bespoke training.We hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers. Work as part of a team to deliver safe, high-quality care to children and young people.Support the development plan for your personal and professional progression, including access to senior band 5 training days, HDU course and APLS course.Collaborate with Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educators and specialist teams to provide comprehensive care and bespoke training.Contribute to improving patient experience and upholding the Trust’s values.Engage in flexible working discussions where possible to meet service needs.Qualifications and Requirements

Current registration as a Paediatric Nurse (NMC) and either prior paediatric experience or a willingness to work in paediatric settings.Commitment to delivering safe high-quality care and to ongoing professional development.Ability to work in a team-focused environment and support colleagues.Benefits
