Packing Line Operative - Night Shift

We are working with a respected and expanding food manufacturing business based just outside Colchester to recruit a Night Shift Packing Line Operative. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity offering job security, training, and potential progression within a well-established production environment.

You''ll be working on a busy production line, supporting a range of tasks from loading and packing to final product preparation. Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is useful but not essential - full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include of the Packing Line Operative - Night Shift:

• Loading raw materials and monitoring the line

• Carrying out visual inspections and grading products

• Final packing and palletising of goods

• Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

• Supporting general production tasks as required

• A reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic

• Previous experience in a manufacturing and production or FMCG environment is beneficial

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes

• Own transport is essential due to the location

• Willingness to work occasional overtime when required

• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

• Pay: -12.62 per hour

• Optional weekend overtime (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM) at enhanced rates

• Free on-site parking
