This one isn''t.A multi-office accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the South East is hiring an Outsourcing Senior Manager for its Guildford office. You would run your own portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, with the advisory side being the point of the job rather than an add-on. Management information clients actually use, proper conversations about what the numbers mean, and input on decisions before they are made rather than after.The roleYou will own a portfolio and deliver a full outsourced finance function, with advisory work sitting on top.- Running management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and reporting- Reviewing statutory reporting and compliance, including VAT and HMRC- Leading client meetings and talking business owners through what the numbers are telling them- Flagging risks and opportunities early enough for clients to act on them- Working alongside the tax, audit and payroll teams- Coaching your own team, and in some cases the client''s finance staffWho they are looking forSomeone commercially minded who likes client contact and is comfortable sitting across the table from a business owner.- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience- Practice background, ideally in outsourcing or business services- Used to working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses- Confident presenting to ..... full job details .....
