Our client, a well-established and thriving organisation within the distribution industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Order Management Administration Lead to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous administrative experience within distribution, logistics or operations and a passion for operational efficiency, team development, and exceptional customer service!

Role Overview:

As the Order Management Administration Lead, you will supervise the administrative function within a bustling operational warehouse facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of administrators, to achieve and fulfil operational efficiency, compliance, inventory accuracy and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prioritise orders and workflow to ensure operational and customer service requirements are achieved
  • Oversee the shipment of goods to international customers, guaranteeing adherence to export regulations and company procedures.
  • Manage the preparation of export documentation and collaborate with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
  • Achievement of performance objectives related to accuracy, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of administrative processes and procedures throughout the operation.
  • Maintain accurate records related to attendance, training, and departmental activities.

Person Specification:

  • Administration experience within operations, logistics or distribution
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Strong understanding of administrative processes, inventory controls, and operational compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
