Optician Branch Manager

OverviewWe are excited to be working in partnership with a well-established family run Hearing Specialist who have a fantastic full-time permanent opportunity to join their team in the Farnham Area. Our client is looking for someone who has branch managerial experience that can become a valuable member of the team. The role is to provide outstanding support to customers and patients while contributing to the efficiency of the stores. The ideal candidate will be GOC-registered and have experience in enhancing branch growth, staff retention and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly into the Area Manager with the goal of enhancing branch growth whilst maintaining staff and customer relationships

Managing the customer relationships, ensuring customer levels of satisfaction remain at their targeted level

Deliver business results by promoting strategies within branch to enhance performance

Planning for the future. Setting and achieving realistic business goals by establishing priorities, actions and milestones

Guiding your team, ensuring they remain motivated and continue to excel within their defined roles

Experience / Qualifications

Qualified Dispensing Optician

Fully Registered with the GOC

Experience as a dispensing optician essential

Experience within a store manager role or similar desirable

Knowledge of the Optical and Hearing industry

Ability to interpret optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists

A strong commitment to customer care and a customer-focused approach to work

Excellent communication skills, to give clear advice to customers

Empathy and understanding of patients'' eye health needs

Teamworking skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff

Attention to detail

Salary£34,505 - £41,200 DOE
