A fantastic opportunity has been created to join my clients-well-established team due to growth and restructuring within the company.
The candidate will be operating in a busy environment, striving to meet tight working deadlines, whilst constantly upholding current operations and will frequently liaise with customers, manage sales / purchasing enquiries and strong communication skills are essential.
The candidate should be either someone who has been looking for an opportunity to further their career where they have been helping manage a team, working alongside management, or have a history within the hydraulic and/or commercial vehicles industry looking for a new opportunity.
Requirements
- Involvement with all operations of the company: purchase ordering, stock control, P and L responsibility, sales and development of successful/profitable business
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, customers and suppliers
- Forward thinking with the ability to make decisions, drive and deliver change
- Ability to utilise resources in the right place at the right time, based on activity demands
- Flexibility to take a hands-on approach to tasks within the warehouse as required
- Managing orders, focusing on schedule adherence and on time delivery
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and in house systems
- We are looking for a committed, reliable individual who is keen to learn
- Full UK Driving License
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Maintain and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
- Co-ordinate ordering, plan inventory and oversee site-based inventory management
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts in line with company objectives
- Sending Quotes, liaise with customers/suppliers to maintain and improve business relationships
- Finding ways to increase quality of customer service
