Operations Manager

to lead and coordinate the activities and overall operational aspects of the hotel. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, Front of House, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and Kitchen teams, while overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel, you will deliver operational excellence, uphold Hilton brand standards, and achieve departmental revenue and profit goals. In the pre-opening phase, you will play a pivotal role in operational planning, recruitment, training, and readiness activities, ensuring the hotel is fully prepared for a successful launch.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport departmental recruitment and onboardingLead, coach, and develop Heads of Departments to achieve exceptional performance and service deliveryLead operational set-up during the pre-opening, including policies, procedures, systems, and trainingAssist the General Manager in establishing positive work culture, drive team engagement initiatives and recognition programmesDrive Stay Experience scoresImplement health, safety, and compliance standards across the propertyLead operational meetings and health and safety reviews, acting as a central communication point during emergenciesEnsure all departments operate within budget and maximise revenue opportunitiesOversee inventory management and cost controls in all operational areasKey SkillsExceptional leadership and talent retention skillsStrong organisational, prioritisation, and delegation abilitiesCustomer-focused with excellent interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and stakeholder presentation skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify improvementsStrategic decision-making in fast-paced environmentsFinancially astute, commercially minded with excellent business acumenProject management experience, ideally in pre-opening hotels (desirable)Familiarity with Hilton brand standards (desirable)About youMinimum 3 years management experience in a branded 4/5-star propertyExperience managing multiple operational departmentsStrong knowledge of health and safety, employment law, and service standardsPositive, adaptable, and solutions-driven leaderPassion for innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvementHilton brand experience and/or pre-opening expertise (desirable)We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
