Typically this person will: Be an experienced operational leader with a background in marina management, boatyard operations or a comparable operational environment. You will be commercially aware, financially astute and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while leading from the front. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, safety and profitability of a busy marina and boatyard, working closely with both operational and commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities of the Marine Operations Manager: Lead the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the marina and boatyard. Plan and coordinate lifting, launching, recovery, boat movements and winter storage operations. Maximise operational capacity while maintaining the highest safety standards. Lead daily planning meetings, toolbox talks and allocate labour and resources effectively. Manage the operational job card system and monitor productivity and KPIs.
