Operations Manager (Assistant Captain) – MOXY London Excel

This position is based on a full time contract.

Gross salary – £competitive

Main Tasks and responsibilities

Supports the General Manager in all aspects of the management of the hotelCustomer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiencesRecruits and develops a team that delivers excellent service the Moxy wayEnsure a profitable hotel operation in line with company goalsManage the team effectively and enforce company policiesActively involved in the day to day tasks of the teamStrong Food and Beverage background — you know the ins and outs of running an FandB operation.Managing Food and Beverage outlets the Moxy wayManage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy wayFollow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safelyPromote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitudeGood with people and enjoy chatting with guestsSkilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great serviceClear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience

Must have minimum 2 years hotel management experienceMust have minimum 2 years team managementMust have property management system (preferably Opera) experienceKnowledge of Point of Sale system (preferably Micros)Knowledge of Food Safety and Licensing lawsKnowledge of maintaining brand standardsEvent management, marketing or social media experiencePersonal experience of travel and travel industry
