Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing glazing business, specialising in high-quality products including Aluminium Windows, Flush Windows, uPVC Sash Windows, Casement Windows, Composite Doors, RK Doors, Bi-Fold & Sliding Doors, Aluminium Glazed Walls, Orangeries, and Rooflights.

The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Operations Manager to join this growing business and take ownership of its day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will be office-based and will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are scheduled, delivered on time, and completed within budget. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to drive productivity (90%+), and the confidence to engage with clients at all stages of the process.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will not only oversee daily operations but also contribute to the company''s long-term growth strategy. As the business expands, there will be genuine opportunities to progress into senior leadership roles such as Contracts Manager and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the business.
Creating and managing schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity.
Coordinating project delivery to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
Attending client meetings and maintaining strong relationships throughout projects.
Monitoring performance and implementing improvements to drive growth.
Managing resources, liaising with installation teams, suppliers, and office staff.
Reporting regularly to the Managing Director on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Supporting the company''s strategic growth plans.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Proven experience in an operations or management role (construction, glazing, or related industries preferred).
Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Commercially aware with experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
Solutions-focused with the ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure.
Desirable:
Background in glazing, windows, or doors.
Experience supporting or scaling operations in a growing business.
