Operations Administrator
Cardiff – Hybrid working (Mondays & Wednesdays in the office, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm)
Salary: £23,896 – £25,000
25 days holiday per year

We are delighted to be working with a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with learning disabilities, who are seeking an Operations Administrator to join their team.

This varied role is integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting financial processes, appointeeships, and general administration. It would suit someone highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities will include the below -

  • Generate bank statements as requested
  • Process amendments to bank signatories (not submissions)
  • Order cheque books and paying-in books
  • Supervise overdrawn balances as advised by the bank
  • Administer car fines
  • Coordinate flowers as part of governance requirements
  • Produce monthly balance reports
  • Maintain and update the tracker for the whole team
  • Liaise with the DWP regarding benefits (excluding housing benefit)
  • Contact Motability when required
  • Process colleague meal consultation forms
  • Maintain household utility spreadsheets
  • Assist with preparation of household audit packs
  • Manage post, emails, and calls
  • Provide support to colleagues across the team
  • Maintain and update trackers

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive team player with the ability to prioritise effectively
