About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead the opening and ongoing development of a new 3-bed Children''s Residential Home in Ilford, providing high-quality care and support for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive and achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving and maintaining an Ofsted rating of "Good" or "Outstanding."Key ResponsibilitiesRegister with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home.Lead the successful opening and day-to-day management of the home in line with the Children''s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.Develop and maintain a child-centred, therapeutic culture focused on achieving the best outcomes for young people.Recruit, develop, supervise, and inspire a high-performing residential care team.Ensure safeguarding remains at the heart of all practice.Oversee care planning, risk management, and behaviour support strategies.Monitor quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement.Manage budgets effectively while ensuring high standards of care.Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, Ofsted, education providers, families, and other professionals.Ensure all statutory requirements, policies, and procedures are consistently met. ..... full job details .....
