Ocean freight Exports Manager

Our client based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Ocean freight Export Manager to join their team. Must have Ocean freight with Freight forwarding experience, Reefer would be also be an advantage. More about the RoleAs an Ocean Freight Export Manager, you''ll manage, coach and drive performance of a team of 4 people to achieve KPIs and a high level of customer service, as well as being directly responsible for the management of Manchester''s Ocean Freight Export Department ensuring a consistently excellent delivery of our Ocean Freight forwarding services including the core operations and full service management for our customers.Key Responsibilities of the Role Includes•To take ownership and responsibility of the Export department and PandL.•Implement people processes in a consistent manner to ensure development and retention of talent (Performance Reviews, IDPs, EOS, MTW, Succession Planning)•Adhere to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation•Complete retrospective Customs compliance actions•Manage and Build Customer Relationships•Ensure the Job File is fully and accurately completed reflecting all commercially relevant information and services provided•Ensures optimisation of end-to-end process in the Export Department•Responsibility for file level GP, cost allocation and operations control delivered through empowerment of your team•Liaise directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise•Liaise directly with ..... full job details .....
