Nursery Practitioners for Solihull & Shirley

Ambassadors Resourcing is recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for day nursery settings in Solihull and Shirley.

Job Description

• The successful Nursery Practitioners will:• Show a passion for working with children in the Early Years and understand theimportance of meeting every child’s individual needs and interests byeffectively planning and observing and tailoring activities accordingly• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS• Promote and nurture the children’s development of creativity, individuality andself confidence• Contribute to a safe, clean, inspiring and inclusive environment• Engage in excellent communication with the team and parents/carers• Actively promote and support the safeguarding of all children, ensuring that thepolicies and procedures of the day nurseries and Ambassadors Resourcing areobserved and their responsibilities are understood

Requirements

• The successful Nursery Practitioners must have:• Level 2 or 3 in Child Care and Education or the equivalent• A minimum of GCSE Grade 4 in English if a Level 3 practitioner, or theequivalent• A current Paediatric First Aid certificate• An enhanced DBS and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have alegal right to work in the country• Two acceptable reference checks from previous employers, including from achildcare and education setting, or educational institutions from the last 2 years• An in-person interview which will include questions about safeguarding and thecandidate’s understanding of working with children
