Nursery Nurse

Based in Chiswick, Greater London our client is looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. Candidates will need to have experience of working with children under 5 years of age and a real passion for early years.

Person Specification:
NVQ Childcare qualification at level 3  
Experience of working with children under 5  years of age
Knowledge EYFS statutory framework
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the responsibilities of Nursery nurse will include:

• Adhering to nursery Policies & Procedures.
• Compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage, planning age appropriate activities.
• Effectively working as part of a team.
• Key worker responsibilities, keeping of development records and observations.
• Keeping accident, medication and risk assessment records.
• Participating in parent evenings, and children’s outings.
• Attendance of staff meetings as arranged by the Nursery Manager.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
