Nursery Nurse

Education Matters are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Supply Nursery Nurse to join our growing team, supporting a range of welcoming and well-established nurseries.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is looking for flexible work across a variety of settings.

Flexible Working Hours We offer shifts to suit your availability:

• Full day: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Morning shift: 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Afternoon shift: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

The Role

• Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
• Assist with the day-to-day running of the nursery room
• Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
• Follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Requirements

• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable

Qualifications

• Experience in Childcare
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in EYFS (or equivalent)
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
