About the Role

The Nights PPT Driver | 4 On / 4 Off role in Crewe involves operating powered pallet trucks within a chilled warehouse environment (1°C to 4°C). This full-time, permanent position offers a rotating shift pattern of four nights on followed by four nights off, working from 10:00pm to 10:00am. The hourly pay ranges from £14.09 to £21.14 via PAYE, depending on shift timing. Key duties include transporting stock safely, loading and unloading products, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. Full training on the PPT is provided if needed. Candidates should be reliable, comfortable working in cold conditions, and prepared for physically demanding night shifts. Suitable warm clothing is recommended for this role.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Nights PPT Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in the Crewe area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated individual looking for long-term night shift work.
Please note, this role is based within a chilled warehouse environment, where temperatures are maintained between 1°C and 4°C. Suitable warm clothing is recommended.
Location: Crewe (CW1)
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off
Hours: 10:00pm – 10:00am
Pay Rate: £14.09 - £21.14 per hour (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities of the Nights PPT Driver:

Operating a PPT (full training available if required)
Transporting stock safely throughout the warehouse
Loading and unloading products
Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed
Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking for in the Nights PPT Driver:

Reliable with a positive attitude towards work
Able to work night shifts, including weekends
Strong team player with good communication skills
Previous PPT experience is advantageous but not essential
Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment (1°C–4°C)
