About the Role
Pertemps Crewe is seeking a Night Shift PPT Driver for a busy warehouse operation based in Crewe (CW1). This full-time, temporary position offers a pay rate of £14.51 to £21.77 per hour (PAYE) and follows a 4 on, 4 off pattern with shifts from 10:00pm to 10:00am. The role involves operating a powered pallet truck (full training provided), safely transporting stock, loading and unloading products, and assisting with general warehouse duties. Candidates must adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Please note the work occurs within a chilled environment maintained between 1°C and 4°C, so suitable warm clothing is recommended.
Night Shift PPT Driver
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Night Shift PPT Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in the Crewe area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking for long-term night shift work starting Monday 29th June.
Please note, this role is based within a chilled warehouse environment, where temperatures are maintained between 1°C and 4°C. Suitable warm clothing is recommended.
Location: Crewe (CW1)
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off
Hours: 10:00pm – 10:00am
Pay Rate: £14.51 - £21.77 per hour (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities for the Night Shift PPT Driver:
- Operating a PPT (full training available)
- Transporting stock safely throughout the warehouse
- Loading and unloading products
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards work
- Able to work night shifts, including weekends
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Previous PPT experience is advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment (1°C–4°C)
- Free parking on site
- Fulltime, ongoing work all year round
- Potential permanent position for the right candidate
