Role and responsibilities of a maintenance engineer: Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site servicesFixing production machinery, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, automation and controls, PLC''s, site services and facilitiesSupporting with project work - new machine and production line installsPPM''s, electrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades Knowledge, skills and experience need to be a maintenance engineer: Must be an electrically biased engineerApprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with electrical and mechanical qualificationsPreviously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing17th / 18th Edition ElectricalElectrical testing and inspection experienceAble to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working as sole engineer on nightsStrong electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem solving skillsPLC - electrical fault findingExperience of carrying out CI projects, ..... full job details .....
