Optegra Eye Health Care is hiring an NHS Patient Services Administrator - Hybrid in Manchester. This role involves delivering virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment, along with administrative duties including booking appointments and handling phone calls. You will lead the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.Base pay range

Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for a NHS Patient Services Advisor, to join our amazing and supportive team in Manchester Eye Hospital. Please note the role is hybrid 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. Four weeks of induction/training will be conducted at the office.This range is provided by Optegra Eye Health Care. As part of a team leading the delivery of our NHS Patient Services Team, you will deliver virtual pre-operative consultations to assess suitability for treatment along with administrative duties, including booking appointments and taking phone calls. Lead the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.What You’ll Need

Experience of working in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sectorCommercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical careExcellent communication skills and a passion for Vision CorrectionExperience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systemsHighly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needsExcellent attention to detailHighly motivated and able to work autonomouslyStrong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other systems/databasesExperience of building and maintaining exceptional relationships with colleagues and customersAbility to deal with challenging behavioursOther job details
