New Business Developer
This is a fast-paced role focused on generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals across multiple markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (calls, digital outreach, exhibitions).
- Engage with prospects, qualify leads, and convert into long-term clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Support the wider sales team and hand over qualified opportunities.
- Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Keep accurate records in CRM systems.
- Previous B2B sales, business development, or telesales experience.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, resilient, and self-motivated.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (SAP a bonus).
- Willing to travel and attend events (UK driving licence required).
- Experience in optics, photonics, or engineering is desirable but not essential.
