Network Engineer - DV Cleared

An opportunity has arisen for a Network Engineer to join an innovative technology organisation delivering complex software solutions for customers across a specialist technical environment.As a Network Engineer, you will help maintain and improve enterprise network infrastructure, supporting reliable, secure and high-performing IT services. This full-time role offers salary up to £78,000 and benefits.Note: Valid DV clearance is essential for this role.You will be responsible for:Supporting network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls and secure connectivity.Keeping network diagrams, technical documentation and operational procedures up to date.Contributing to capacity planning, performance improvements and network resilience.Supporting virtualised and software-defined networking environments.Assisting with automation and Infrastructure as Code activities where appropriate.For more experienced engineers, taking ownership of technical workstreams, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to network design decisions.Travelling to company premises or other locations when required.Keeping technical knowledge up to date through relevant training and professional development.What we are looking for:Essential:Previously worked as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.Valid DV clearance.Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Routing and switching, VLANs, DNS and DHC and Network troubleshooting methodologies.Background in supporting ..... full job details .....
