Network DNS Architect Location: Wokingham, UK Work Mode: Office based (5 days per week) Contract Type: Contract Duration: 6 months Rate: 510 per day (Inside IR35) We are seeking an experienced Network DNS Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale DNS infrastructure within a large, complex environment. This role is ideal for a senior networking professional with deep expertise in DNS architecture, network design, and security, ideally with experience working in regulated or secure environments. You will take ownership of DNS strategy across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring high availability, resilience, and strong security controls. The role requires close collaboration with network, security, and cloud engineering teams, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable and resilient DNS solutions across enterprise environments Define DNS strategy including high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery Manage and optimise enterprise DNS platforms such as Infoblox, BIND, BlueCat, or Microsoft DNS Implement DNS security controls including DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, and threat protection Troubleshoot complex DNS and network infrastructure issues Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams on integration and optimisation Produce technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams ..... full job details .....
