National Account Manager | ESG Drysdale

MorePeople are working with ESG Drysdale to recruit a National Account Manager as the business continues to grow its commercial team.

ESG Drysdale is a grower-owned fresh produce supplier connecting UK retailers with dedicated growers. The business has grown steadily and continues to invest in its commercial team.

You''ll take ownership of key retail accounts, with some involvement across B2B and foodservice. This is a role for someone who enjoys the pace of fresh food:

• Building strong customer partnerships
• Spotting commercial opportunities across different accounts
• Making sound decisions when stock, demand and availability change quickly
• Working with colleagues across agriculture, operations, technical and supply chain to deliver for customers

The right person will be commercially capable, comfortable with people and confident enough to ask questions and challenge constructively, while building strong relationships across the business.

What we''re looking for:

• At least two years'' retail account management experience in fresh food
• Experience working with multiple retailers, whether in one role or across your career
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn data into action
• The confidence to build relationships internally and externally
• Someone organised, adaptable and happy to take ownership of their work
• Fresh produce and own-label experience would be useful, as would experience with Power BI or relevant apps.

The role offers hybrid working, with one day a week at either the Cockburnspath or Cupar site. That said, you''ll need to be able to make that journey regularly and be flexible when the role calls for it.
