Music Technology Teacher - Performing Arts SEMH College IslingtonFridays Only (1 Day Per Week) September Start Competitive Daily RateRemedy Education is recruiting a Music Technology Teacher to join a specialist Performing Arts SEMH College in Islington.This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a unique post-16 setting that supports 16-18-year-old students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The college specialises in using the performing arts to re-engage learners, helping them develop confidence, creativity and the skills needed for future education and employment.Working every Friday, you will deliver engaging and practical Music Technology lessons, encouraging students to explore music production, recording and composition in a supportive and creative environment.The RoleTeach Music Technology to post-16 learners (16-18 years)Plan and deliver creative, practical lessons that inspire and engage studentsTeach digital music production using software such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, GarageBand, BandLab or CubaseSupport students with recording, sequencing, mixing and compositionPrepare learners for accredited Music Technology qualifications (RSL Music Practitioner experience is desirable but not essential)Work closely with support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Holds a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, PTLLS or equivalent)Has experience teaching Music ..... full job details .....
