The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a Music Teacher, you'll:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level Music.
  • Foster a love for music theory, performance, composition, and appreciation of diverse musical genres.
  • Plan and deliver creative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress rigorously, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Direct and organise extracurricular musical activities, such as choirs, orchestras, bands, and performances.
