The Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a Music Teacher, you'll:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level Music.
- Foster a love for music theory, performance, composition, and appreciation of diverse musical genres.
- Plan and deliver creative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress rigorously, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Direct and organise extracurricular musical activities, such as choirs, orchestras, bands, and performances.

The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a Music Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Music or a related field. ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Has proven experience and a strong track record of success in teaching Music up to A-Level.
- Possesses outstanding subject knowledge, practical musical skills (e.g., instrument proficiency), and a genuine passion for music education.
- Is an exceptional classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
