We are looking for a dedicated and creative Music Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking school in Amersham, where the arts are highly valued and play an integral role in school life.
About the Role:
- Teach engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not required)
- Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that develops studentsandrsquo; skills in performance, composition, and aural analysis
- Contribute to a vibrant extra-curricular programme, including ensembles, choirs, concerts, and other musical events
- Inspire a lasting appreciation and enthusiasm for music among students of all abilities and backgrounds
The ideal candidate will:
- A qualified teacher with QTS, or currently working towards it (preferred but not essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education
- Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Committed to supporting both the academic progress and well-being of students
- Willing to play an active role in the wider school community
