Job Opportunity: Teacher of Music (KS3-KS4) Location: CroydonWe are delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Croydon, currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Music to join their department.The RoleThe successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that develop students'' musical knowledge, performance skills, composition and appreciation of a wide range of musical styles and genres.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare and deliver high-quality Music lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school schemes of work, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive and well-sequenced.Teach across Years 7-11, including GCSE Music groups where required, adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners.Develop students'' practical musical skills, including performance, composition, listening and musical analysis.Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, confidence and a love of music.Assess, track and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support ongoing musical and academic development.Differentiate learning activities to support a wide range of abilities, including EAL learners, students with SEN and higher-attaining pupils.Prepare students for GCSE Music examinations, including practical assessments, composition coursework, listening examinations and targeted revision where ..... full job details .....
