Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid breakdown response on heavy processing, bulk-handling, and automated milling machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, PLC inputs/outputs, motor controls, and distribution systems across the plant.
• Carry out heavy mechanical repairs, replacement of worn parts, and routine servicing on conveyors, bucket elevators, augers, drag chains, and industrial grinders.
• Work reactively to minimize production downtime, keeping key processing lines running at peak efficiency.
• Maintain strict safety standards, complete work logs, and contribute to continuous improvement across the facility.

What We''re Looking For

• Electrical Qualification (Essential): Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or 18th Edition in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-On Skillset: Strong multi-skilled capabilities with proven mechanical fault-finding and repair experience on heavy mechanical plant/machinery.
• Industry Background: Previous experience in heavy engineering, feed/grain mills, bulk materials handling, recycling, quarrying, or FMCG processing environments.
• Mindset: A practical, hard-working "can-do" attitude-comfortable working in a busy, physical, and dust-heavy industrial environment.
• Location: Must hold a valid UK driving license and live within a reasonable commute of South Norfolk.
